Don’t get me wrong, i love the hp movies. But when i say i want a book to turn into a movie, i want a detailed description of what they do every day and not cut out important things. Like all the quidditch games, and Lilly and Snape’s story. It upsets me.

I have confronted many opinions in this fandom, and I always try to see the other side. But what he told me I simply can’t. It does not matter if you like Snape or not, for me it’s common sense that Alan Rickman did Snape wonderfully.

But I feel more like this is real canon, even if the books don’t state it. Harry is too forgiving, but I don’t know how anyone finds that much empathy for someone who had such a direct role in his parents’ deaths without having been in their shoes and partially to blame for causing the death of someone they’d have done anything to protect. Harry’s guilt over Sirius helped him relate to Snape.

Even setting aside Draco’s other undesirable qualities, the very first thing he did was remind Harry of Dudley, his main bully and tormentor. It’s perfectly believable that Harry didn’t want a friend who might be like Dudley, no matter how desperate he was.

It tops the list of most bizarre things I’ve seen come out of the internet. Forever invalid argument, as far as I’m concerned, and this is why.
