The original Dumbledore was way better than the second one. In the first movie, he acted with love and care towards Harry. The second Albus was always angry and rude.

When I was a baby, before Harry Potter even began, my family met Richard Harris. My parents and i were dressed as characters from Camelot for Mardi Gras. My dad says he came up to us and compilmented the costumes and patted me on the head. Now I am a huge Potter fan and I loved how Richard Haris played Dumbledore. I wish I could remember meeting that amazing man.
Not saying that Michael Gambon wasn’t brilliant. I believe that Richard Harris would have been just as great.
If you watch the movie The Count of Monte Cristo, you can see a little bit of that hidden badass in there.
I hate myself for this, but.. I think Michael Gambon was a better Dumbledore than Richard Harris could ever be.
I don’t know why, I just think there were Gambon was a lot more active, and capable. Harris just seemed tired and suffocated.
