Harry never had anything from Snape beyond sheer unadulterated hate, and in a fandom where Snape’s abusive upbringing is used to explain his flaws, it’s horrifying that this wouldn’t factor in at all, or that the actual love Harry got from the Marauders means less. James died for Harry. 

People have to realize that not one character, other then voldemort is completely good or evil or is free of guilt. Harry, Remus, Sirius, Snape, Dumbledore, etc. EVERYONE has done something bad. So it would be nice to see Snape not being blamed for everything because it’s ridiclous to think he’s at fault for everything that people do wrong.

This basically involved us running around on all fours pretending to be animals. I always got to be Sirius since he was my favorite and I invented the game. I always made this girl I didn’t really like be Wormtail. She hadn’t read the books, so she didn’t know he was a traitor, but she didn’t want to be a rat.

And I can’t imagine how he must have been while at Hogwarts. I can’t help but wonder what happened to make him loose all hope and forsake all those that he loved. Or was it just that he loved power MORE?
