topic will remain for one week unless we need to extend it.
Define love. Define love without using any examples between characters in the series. What is love to you, explain it to us. Whats the difference between the love of a mother, the love of a friend, romantic love? What type of love do you think is strongest and why?
OPTIONAL: After you’ve done that, if you want, THEN apply it to whatever characters you wish. Use your definition to explain to us why the love between them is inspiring enough to talk about. It could be Lilys love for Harry, Snape or James’ love for Lily, Ron’s love for Hermione, Harry’s love for Ron, Dumbledores love for the trio, Remus and Tonks, Fleur and Bill etc. If you can apply your definition to characters that weren’t actually canon then by all means go ahead, I won’t limit you.
Love is a very huge issue within the series, the power of love is what kept Harry alive and drove him to do most of what he did. So thats why I’m interested in what others define it as.
You can either submit to the blog and we will publish it (anonymously if you ask us to) or you can reblog this and write it on your own blog, I am going to try to go through the notes occasionally and reblog pieces with strong points and examples.
you are encouraged to counter opposite opinions as this is how discussions work, just be civil about it please.
