By all means, you can wish they got together at some point. I wish that too. I wish they had been given a chance as a couple. But the fact remains that Harry/Hermione were never anything more than platonic. You can’t ship two people as your OTP who don’t even have a basis for a relationship. Of course, there’s also the fact that Ron/Hermione are perfect. But that’s not why I feel this way.
