I taught myself to read ‘big’ books via this series, I read Philosopher’s Stone at the age of 4, in 2002, reading along with the audio tape and with my dad to help me. I’ve read Philosopher’s Stone 10 times now. I spent hours ‘playing Harry Potter’ on the weekends and I honestly don’t remember
some advice: if you create something and put it on the internet that you want credit for, make sure you watermark it.
that is, put your url somewhere on the image where it is not easy to crop it out or erase it in photoshop. (this will not keep people from recreating the image themselves)
and to those asking, no theres nothing that can be done about the previous posters problem even if they had given the thiefs username. In fact, that angelina jolie leg meme was hugely popular and went viral in less than 24 hours of her taking the picture it’s from, so it’d be impossible to tell who did it first anyway.

I feel betrayed by the Harry Potter Fandom. Last year I created this image of Severus Snape, many of you have probably seen it. It was promptly stolen and reuploaded by another “fan” who received 80,000+ notes on it, while my original only got 200. It’s a real kick in the guts to see someone else get credit for something you’ve worked hard on; and the credit being given to them by people you thought were your friends, the rest of your fandom. I haven’t been able to enjoy Harry Potter since, nor have I been able to participate in the fandom due to an overwhelming sense of forsakenness.
